Eastland Named Member of the Month for January 2024

Congratulations to Eastland - Independent & Assisted Senior Living for being chosen the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce's Member of the Month for January!


Eastland is owned and operated by the Moose family, who have deep roots in the Auburn community. They provide independent and assisted living accommodations with all-inclusive amenities. Residents can choose from a one- or two-bedroom apartment. Each unit includes a living room, full kitchen and personal bathroom. Residents enjoy the following services and amenities at Eastland:

  • Around-the-clock care from our professional and caring nursing staff for those residents receiving assisted living level services.

Eastland’s Executive Director is Tami Foster, LPN. Tami has over 40 years experience as a licensed practical nurse with emphasis on geriatric care. She has spent over 12 years working in an assisted living facility and had critical roles in opening two new facilities in Springfield and Chicago.


Paulette Miller serves as their Community Relations Director. She joined Eastland in 2021 with over 40 year’s experience working in nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities as both Executive and Marketing Directors.


Other members of their management team include: Todd Atwell, Maintenance Director; Barbi Ervin, Dietary Manager, Brooke Sampson, Resident Care Manager, and Barbie Jarrard, Life Enrichment Coordinator.


The Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce is honored to name Eastland as its Member of the Month for January.
