I would like to extend an invitation to you to join the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce (CCC). By joining CCC, you are investing in the future of your business as well as the Chatham community.
Our current Board of Directors has an excellent mix of talent to enable the CCC to grow and prosper, thus offering businesses in the Chatham area many opportunities.
Why should you be a member of the Chatham Area Chamber of Commerce? The CCC will:
- Send You Business. CCC provides referrals and has a web page hosted by VieoDream. We prepare a brochure distributed to new residents with Chamber businesses listed. We recommend CCC members first!
- Offer You Advertising Opportunities. We have installed a Time and Temperature service for the Chatham area. Only CCC members are eligible to participate in this low cost advertising service. We also sponsor newspaper advertising for Chamber members.
- Keep You Informed.CCC distributes a newsletter, keeping you informed about local and statewide business news and events. We publish a Chamber Chatter column in the Chatham Clarion newspaper. Our monthly board meetings, which are the first Wednesday of every month, are open to members and the public. All CCC members are encouraged to attend.
- Offer You Networking Opportunities.CCC holds a variety of events to give you an opportunity to meet and network with other business leaders in the community. We host various social activities including Business After Hours, breakfasts, the annual golf outing, and an annual banquet.
- Educate You. CCC hosts free consulting services with SBDC and S.C.O.R.E. once each month for the convenience of local business owners and is planning to sponsor workshops and seminars on business topics.
- Give You an Active Role.CCC is currently forming committees to give all members an opportunity to take an active role in promoting our community. In addition to the events sponsored by CCC, we provide volunteers for the annual Jaycees Sweet Corn Festival and Chatham Homecoming Celebration. Chamber members play an integral part in the Chatham Area Character Education/Development Initiative. You can be as active as your schedule allows.
- Celebrate Your Success.CCC offers traditional ribbon cutting ceremonies to celebrate your grand openings, relocations, and anniversary celebrations.
