Ambassadors

Chairperson: Tracy Formea

Act as Liaisons between the Chamber and membership. The Ambassador position is crucial to the maintenance of membership of the Chamber. They are:

• Educators: Inform members and prospective members about the Chamber and its services and benefits.
• Communicators: Keep the information channels open between members and the Chamber, acting as a sounding board to gather ideas and suggestions for improving member programs and services.
• Motivators: Encourage members to be involved with the Chamber events and programs and inspire members to grow and more fully benefit from their investment in the Chamber.
• Mentor : for new members.
• Cheerleaders : for the Chamber, assisting in ribbon cuttings, networking, and socializing.

Finance Committee

The function of the Finance Committee is to oversee the financial well being of the Chamber. This will include budget preparation & monitoring. The Finance committee will work with the Fund Raising Committee to insure adequate income to support the operation of the Chamber. They will also act as internal auditors for the organization.

Fund Raising Committee

The function of the Fund Raising Committee is to plan fund raising projects for the Chamber. They will research and design projects and recruit task force members to carry out each project. They will work closely with the Finance Committee to provide adequate funding to meet the financial needs of the Chamber.

Programs Committee

The function of the Programs Committee is to develop programs to meet the needs of members and to promote the Chamber in the community. This will include education for business development and promotion, networking, and social programs.

Public Relations Committee

The function of the Public Relations Committee is to develop plans to increase awareness of the Chamber and its programs and communicate these concepts to Chamber members and the greater Chatham community. In addition, they will develop ideas to help member businesses gain awareness for their products and services through Chamber promotions and literature. The P.R. Committee will be responsible for Web Site development and maintenance and act as an advisor for Newsletter development.
